UNK’s Fine Arts Building was filled with even more inquiring, creative minds than usual this past Wednesday.
An estimated 110 students from 13 central Nebraska high schools participated in Imagination Day: Reloaded hosted by UNK’s Art and Design Department on Wednesday, October 19.
Students began the day by visiting the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA). Students were given a tour of the museum and were able to view current exhibitions.
Throughout the rest of the day, students took part in a variety of hands-on workshops hosted by UNK Art and Design professors which included letterpress, printmaking, computer animation, glass art, photography, ceramics, and painting.
A huge thank you to the students, faculty, and staff that made this year’s Imagination Day a huge success.
