Christopher M. Strickland previously held a Visiting Assistant Professor position at Hastings College, in Hastings, Nebraska, as well as an Adjunct position in the Graduate School of Education at Lesley University. He holds a BFA in Fine Arts Education; an M.Ed. in Arts Integration, and Ph.D. in Educational Studies, with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Lesley University. His research focuses on autoethnographic and arts-based inquiry and broadly encompasses identity, creativity and art education, visual literacy, interdisciplinary curriculum design, and culturally responsive teaching. His paintings are displayed in personal collections, regional galleries, businesses and exhibitions.
