Not only that but she helped make this new website a reality!
MORE ABOUT SARAH
Sarah transfered to UNK Art and Design in large part due to the reputation of the department and its VCD program. “I wanted to be apart of a program that was going to help me expand my skills, and challenge myself. The professors also played a large role in choosing UNK. When I visited they all seemed extremely genuine and knowledgeable,” she said.
Sarah is currently preparing for her senior show next semester but is also making big plans for her post-graduation life. “It’s kind of mind-blowing that graduation is so close! I would like to work for a couple years in Omaha at a design firm/ad agency, and then hopefully move to North Carolina. As far as personal career goals; I would like to dive into web design quite a bit more,” she said.
“Overall my experience with the program has been so positive,” Styron says of her time here at UNK Art and Design. “I’ve gotten the pleasure of working with Sam Rapien and the social media team, to promote the program through social media and updating the website. I’ve gotten to be apart of the ADP club on campus as the art representative, as well as attend multiple networking events through AIGA and AAF.”
