Adam Wells and Chris Cox, alumni of the Visual Communication and Design program, will be speaking next Friday, April 26 at 2pm in FAB 312. The two designers will give a talk and answer student questions as part of the Art Creative Lecture Series.
Adam Wells is an experiential graphic design leader and Principal of design firm DLR Group. As an experiential designer, Wells collaborates with project stakeholders and design team members to understand the unique characteristics and context of architecture, and develops creative solutions that connect the project to occupants and visitors
Chris Cox is the founder of Change The Thought, a studio in Ft. Collins, CO that currently emphasizes in “branding anchored by clean and rational typography.” Cox has cultivated strong relationships with international architecture firms in need of cutting edge environmental graphics. Cox has created many licensed works for the entertainment and is scheduled to have a retrospective show in the Walker Gallery next month.
Both designers will be speaking on their work, process, post-graduate experiences, and answering questions from students.
