Students and professionals alike gathered at The Scoular Ballroom Omaha, NE this weekend to celebrate the best of the state’s creative advertising and design. UNK’s Visual Communication and Design students took home a total of five awards—four silver and one gold. Junior design major Tyrell Cerveny took home a silver for his promotional materials for We Are Design and a gold for his Get Out The Vote poster. Seniors Libbie Cramer and Kenzi Hiebner both earned a silver—Cramer earning the honor for her beer packaging and Hiebner winning for her tag system. Junior Evan Ludwig took home a silver for his sports logo design.
