Home » Event » Halloween Descends Upon Art and Design!

Halloween festivities filled the Fine Arts Building this Monday as students participated in a pumpkin carving contest and pumpkin chuckin’ throughout the day. The department-wide celebration has become a strong tradition within Art and Design as faculty, staff, and students from around the college come to take a look at art students’ creepy creations and get in on the fun.

Pumpkins were also judged by passerbys in the categories of Best of Show, Ugliest Pumpkin, and Most Creative Pumpkin. This year’s winners are Maekayla Ward (Best of Show), Jase Hueser (Ugliest Pumpkin), and Bobby Bombeck (Most Creative). Congratulations and thanks to all of those who participated!
