The Annual Undergraduate Art Exhibition, Sponsored by the UNK Art Society, is held in the Walker Art Gallery each Spring semester. This annual exhibition is juried, and is open to all undergraduate students at UNK. The 2009 show will open on February 16th and run through March 13, 2009. The pubic is encouraged to view the show, and attend the exhibition reception and awards ceremony to be held on Sunday, March 1, 2009. View Undergradulate Art Exhibition award winners in 2009. The Art Society is an organization whose members have the opportunity to get involved with visiting artist, various workshops and lectures. Students also participate in conferences and seminars. The organization is also a host for Student Art Exhibition held annually at Walker Art Gallery in the Art Department. Part of the Art Society is Kappa Pi representing the national honorary art fraternity which gives students an opportunity to experience the Fine and Applied Arts through informal study and meetings, visiting artists, and trips to museums and art gallerys.
