Teaching Area: Art History, Art Appreciation
Experience: High School humanities instructor, museum educator, museum curator, art appreciation and art history teacher.
I take an interdisciplinary approach to teaching. I like to combine my interests in religion and other art forms, such as music and literature, with the study of the visual arts and art history.
Little known fact: I was born and raised in Ohio within 15 miles of Highway 30 (the Lincoln Highway), went to graduate school and taught in Iowa for 20 years within 10 miles of Highway 30 and have now been in Nebraska for 21 years living and working in Kearney which is right on Highway 30.
