Stephanie Baer earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a certification for K-12 Art and an Emphasis in Photography. She also received her Masters in Secondary Teaching from UNL.

Stephanie taught Middle/High School Art in Dodge City, Kansas and Lafayette, Colorado, then taught Elementary Art Methods at UNL for 4 years.

She is currently finishing work toward a Ph.D. in Teaching/Teacher Education at UNL, and recently had an article published in Education and Culture entitled, "The Fear of Art and the Art of Fear."
