2007 Annual Undergraduate Student Art Exhibition

The UNK Art Society Annual Undergraduate Student Art Exhibition is now underway in the Walker Art Gallery located in the Fine Arts Building. The show will be in the Gallery through March 11, 2007.
The Reception and Awards Ceremony will be Sunday, February 18th between 2:00–4:00 p.m.
This year, seventy-five pieces were selected from over 150 entries for the exhibition. Guest juror, Tim Guthrie, of Creighton University selected the “Best of Show” entry along with several other award winners.

UNK Art Faculty Exhibition at MONA from Jan. 27 to April 8- January 28 2007

This biennial exhibition at the Museum of Nebraska Art features recent artwork by current and emeriti faculty members of the University of Nebraska Kearney’s Art and Art History Department. These artists work in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, ceramic, and mixed media.
The exhibition is made possible by a generous gift from the Rob and Carol Cope Charitable Trust.
